Anime Squadron Beginner's Guide

If you're starting Anime Squadron today, redeem all active codes first, summon until you get a strong Mythic unit such as Kakashi, Goki, or Vegeta, and push through Story Mode for gems and rewards. Get Speed Wagon as soon as possible, focus your resources on a small number of core units, and work toward evolving Gogeta before moving on to Madara, Falcon, and Aizen. Avoid investing heavily in random Mythics that won't help in endgame content.

Anime Squadron Beginner's Guide

What Should You Do First?

Anime Squadron can feel overwhelming at the start, but the fastest progression path is actually very simple.

When you first join the game, claim every available code and daily reward. New players can receive a large amount of free Yen and other useful resources immediately. These rewards are enough to start summoning and upgrading without spending Robux.

After collecting your rewards, head straight to the Banner and begin summoning.

Best Early Summon Targets

Your first goal is obtaining a useful Mythic unit.

Recommended priorities:

  1. Kakashi
  2. Goki
  3. Vegeta
  4. Speed Wagon

Kakashi is one of the strongest early-game options because of his fast attack speed and excellent clearing potential. Goki provides high damage and can later evolve into one of the most important endgame units. Vegeta is another strong progression unit that becomes valuable for future evolutions.

Most importantly, try to obtain Speed Wagon whenever possible.

Unlike other units, Speed Wagon generates extra Yen during battles and remains valuable throughout the entire game.

Complete Story Mode First

Once you have a few decent units, focus on Story Mode progression.

Many new players spend too much time rerolling or farming early maps. Instead, prioritize clearing every available Story chapter.

Progress through:

  • Easy Mode
  • Normal Mode
  • Hard Mode

First-clear rewards provide a large amount of gems, experience, and progression materials.

These rewards will help you build stronger teams much faster than repeatedly farming low-level stages.

Upgrade Your Economy Early

Before investing heavily in combat upgrades, improve your economy.

Recommended upgrades:

  • Increase Yen Capacity to around 1.7K
  • Improve Yen Generation whenever possible

Higher Yen Capacity allows you to deploy expensive Mythic units more comfortably during difficult stages.

Since many endgame upgrades require huge amounts of Yen, economy upgrades provide long-term value.

Why Speed Wagon Is Mandatory

Speed Wagon is currently the most important farm unit in Anime Squadron.

If you get him, focus on obtaining one of these traits:

  • Entrepreneur (Best)
  • Wealthy (Alternative)

These traits dramatically increase your resource generation and help fund future upgrades and evolutions.

Almost every endgame player continues using Speed Wagon because of the economic advantage he provides.

Best Traits for Main Units

After building your first team, start rerolling traits on your strongest units.

Recommended trait priorities:

Superior

The best overall trait for most damage dealers.

Cloner

An excellent alternative that can significantly increase combat performance.

Avoid wasting rerolls on weak or temporary units. Save your resources for characters that will remain useful into late-game content.

Your First Major Goal: Gogeta

The most important milestone for new players is obtaining Gogeta.

To unlock Gogeta, you'll need:

  • Goki
  • Vegeta
  • Evolution materials
  • Primal Core from Special Quests

Gogeta is widely considered the easiest Secret Unit to obtain and serves as a powerful bridge into mid-game and endgame content.

Because of this, all early progression should be directed toward unlocking and evolving Gogeta.

Progression Path After Gogeta

Once Gogeta is complete, follow this progression route:

Gogeta → Madara → Falcon → Aizen

Madara can be obtained through Ninja Village Squadron content.

Falcon and Aizen become your next major upgrades and provide strong performance in more difficult game modes.

This path offers one of the smoothest transitions from mid-game into endgame.

Best Farming Method

When you need additional resources, focus on efficient maps rather than random farming.

Recommended farming stage:

GT City Chapter 1 (Normal)

Benefits:

  • Fast clears
  • Good Yen rewards
  • Reliable gem income

For daily progression:

  • Complete Infinite Mode boosts
  • Open Gacha Bags
  • Run Challenge stages every 30 minutes
  • Participate in Raids when available

Following this cycle provides a steady stream of progression resources.

Equipment Guide

For early and mid-game players, prioritize obtaining:

  • Devil Amulet
  • Devil Sword

When choosing equipment stats, Crit Rate should generally be prioritized over other secondary bonuses.

Higher critical hit consistency leads to faster clears and better overall damage output.

Common Beginner Mistakes

Many players slow their progress by making the same mistakes.

Avoid:

  • Investing in every Mythic you summon
  • Ignoring Speed Wagon
  • Spending all Yen on random upgrades
  • Wasting trait rerolls on temporary units
  • Delaying Story Mode progression

Focus your resources on a small number of powerful units instead.

Endgame Goals

Your long-term objectives should be:

  • Fully evolve Gogeta
  • Obtain Madara
  • Reach Falcon
  • Reach Aizen
  • Build optimized traits
  • Farm high-level Raids
  • Complete difficult Squadron content

At this stage, keeping up with meta changes becomes increasingly important.

The strongest units can change between updates, so always review the latest tier lists before committing large amounts of resources.

Final Advice

Anime Squadron rewards focused progression. Rather than upgrading every Mythic you obtain, invest only in units that remain useful throughout the game.

A simple path for most players is:

Redeem Codes -> Summon Mythics -> Get Speed Wagon -> Clear Story Mode -> Evolve Gogeta -> Farm Resources -> Reach Madara -> Progress to Falcon and Aizen -> Build Endgame Teams

Following this roadmap will help you reach endgame much faster while avoiding the most common beginner mistakes.
