Reroll Strategy Guide

Anime Squadron Reroll Guide: Save Your Shards & Get Godly Traits Fast

Rerolling in Anime Squadron Update 0.5 is a brutal gamble. One wrong click can brick your main Mythic and wipe out weeks of farming. Stop burning your hard-earned Shards on pure luck—here are the exact iron rules, safety nets, and drop rates you need to know to lock in SS-Tier traits without going broke.

Shard Economy

Cost & Mechanics: The Shard Economy

Before you roll, you need to understand what you are burning. Do not blindly click "Roll All" without a budget.

Resource / MechanicBase CostScaled Cost (Locked)Meta Note
Trait Shards1x Shard / Roll3x Shards (1 Slot Locked)Best for early-to-mid game scaling. Never use Shards when locking 2+ slots; the cost multiplier scales too aggressively.
Perfect Cubes1x Cube / RollStat FrozenKeeps your current tier but lets you min-max the raw stat rolls. Save these strictly for your absolute end-game SS-Tier units.
Pity Counter100 RollsResets on S-Tier+Every 100 rolls guarantees at least an S-Tier trait. Crucial: Never stop rolling if you are at 80+ pity; push to the milestone.
Stat RollingFree (Gold)Scales with Unit LevelSeparate from Trait rolling. Always roll your flat stats (ATK/SPA) before hunting for Unique/Godly multipliers.
Iron Rules

The "Iron Rules" of Rerolling

Order is critical here: breaking this sequence means wasted resources.

Step 1: The Baseline

Establish Your 'Carry Trait' First

Do not try to be fancy. Your main DPS needs a raw damage or attack-speed multiplier immediately. Roll until you hit at least an A-Tier or S-Tier offensive trait (e.g., Godly/Sharp). Leave support traits for your bench units.

Step 2: Resource Locking

The Perfect Cube Stop-Rule

If you hit an S-Tier trait (like Godly) but want to hunt for an SS-Tier (Unique), STOP. Do not lock and burn all your shards. Bring a duplicate unit to roll on instead. Only use Perfect Cubes on your main unit if you have a safety net.

Step 3: Bench Management

Roll Support & Economy on Separate Units

Never waste a high-tier damage unit by keeping Greed or Sonic on them if they are meant to carry. Roll your economy traits strictly on pure farm units (Bulma/Speedwagon) placed safely on your bench.

Step 4: The Final Polish

Max Out Base Stats Before End-Game Trait Hunts

A +150% Unique multiplier on garbage base stats is still garbage damage. Max out your flat ATK stats using gold and basic rerolls before you start burning your rare Shards and Cubes for the perfect passive.

Emergency Answers

Reroll FAQ: Quick Answers For Panicked Players

I just rolled an S-Tier trait, but it's on the wrong unit. Can I transfer it?

No. Traits are permanently bound to the unit that rolled them. You cannot move a trait to another character. This is why you should never roll for end-game DPS traits (like Godly or Unique) on a temporary or support unit. If you hit it on the wrong unit, it's stuck there forever.

Does the Reroll Pity Counter reset if I leave the game or crash?

No, your Pity is safe. The 100-roll pity counter is saved to your account data. You can log out, crash, or switch servers, and your progress toward the guaranteed S-Tier trait will not disappear. It only resets when you actually hit an S-Tier or higher trait.

Should I use Perfect Cubes to freeze stats or just keep spamming Shards?

Save your Perfect Cubes strictly for the final min-maxing step. Only use Perfect Cubes when you already have an SS-Tier trait (like Unique) and you want to lock in perfect flat stats (like max ATK) without losing the trait. Using them early is a massive waste of a very rare resource.

I completely ran out of Trait Shards and my main unit has trash traits. What do I do?

Stop rolling immediately and start using a duplicate (Dupe) unit. This is the biggest rookie mistake. If your main carry has a "usable" A-Tier trait, leave it alone! Obtain a duplicate copy of that unit from summons, level it up slightly, and do all your risky gambling on the duplicate. Once the duplicate hits a Godly/Unique trait, switch your main gear to it. Never leave your main team with zero damage traits.

Is the "Unique" trait (0.1% chance) really worth grinding for?

Not if you are a free-to-play (F2P) or casual player. The math is brutal. Hitting Unique requires extreme luck or thousands of shards. For 90% of game content, a solid Godly or Reaper trait combined with maxed-out base stats is more than enough to clear everything easily. Don't brick your account chasing a 0.1% myth.
