Why This Build Works

High Damage

Puppeteer and Gometa both use Superior traits, allowing the team to maintain strong damage throughout the raid. Superior provides a significant multiplier on base damage stats, making every upgrade more impactful.

High Speed

Speed-focused gear helps Puppeteer maximize uptime and battlefield presence. The combined SPD bonuses from Puppeteer Hair, Hogyoku, and Puppeteer Coat create a dramatic improvement in attack frequency and mobility.

Balanced Survivability

Devil Amulet and Devil Sword provide enough defensive stats to survive Hard Mode boss mechanics, while the speed gear ensures you don't sacrifice offensive pressure.

Solo Raid Strategy

Early Game

Start by placing Fastwagon and upgrading your economy. Early income makes the rest of the run smoother. Do not rush to deploy expensive units before you have the Yen generation to support them.

  • Place Fastwagon first
  • Upgrade Yen Generation to at least level 3
  • Save Yen for Puppeteer deployment

Mid Game

Deploy Puppeteer early and focus upgrades there first. Once economy is stable, place Gometa and build both units. Prioritize Puppeteer upgrades — your main DPS should be 2-3 levels ahead of your sub DPS.

  • Deploy Puppeteer as soon as affordable
  • Upgrade Puppeteer to at least level 20
  • Deploy Gometa once Puppeteer is established
  • Add Shinks for support value

Late Game

By the final waves, aim for fully upgraded Puppeteer and Gometa, active support value from Shinks, and stable income from Fastwagon. If you are struggling with survivability, check your gear — even one upgraded defensive piece can make the difference between a clear and a wipe.

  • Max out Puppeteer and Gometa upgrades
  • Ensure Fastwagon economy is still active
  • Monitor boss mechanics and reposition if needed

Minimum Requirements

  • All core units at Level 40.
  • Puppeteer with Superior trait.
  • Gometa with Superior trait.
  • Key gear pieces equipped (see gear table above).
  • Fastwagon upgraded for income generation.

If you meet these requirements but still struggle, focus on gear upgrades before spending more resources on trait rerolls. Equipment improvements are often more impactful than chasing slightly better traits.

Normal Mode vs Hard Mode

Normal Mode

Clears comfortably with Level 35+ units. Speed-focused gear is sufficient, and you can afford to be more aggressive with deployment timing. If Gometa lacks Superior, Normal Mode is still very doable.

Hard Mode

Requires Level 40 units, full Superior traits on both DPS carries, and defensive gear pieces. Hard Mode boss mechanics hit harder, so Devil Amulet and Devil Sword become more important. Consider upgrading defensive stats to at least +5% before attempting Hard Mode.

Final Thoughts

The current best solo setup revolves around optimized Puppeteer, Gometa, Shinks, and Fastwagon. If you are struggling, improve Puppeteer gear first; equipment can provide a larger gain than chasing another unit.

Future updates can shift the raid meta, so check the Tier List before spending Gems, rerolls, or evolution materials.
